Meet Brendon Reyes

Brendon began his practice in 2016 when he moved back home to learn from and practice with his father, Miguel A. Reyes. Brendon’s practice has principally focused on consulting and providing legal services for entrepreneurs and landlords.

Brendon grew up in Irondequoit where he played football and served as captain of the football team at West Irondequoit High School. He continued his education and football career at the University of Rochester where he earned all-league honors as a defensive lineman after his senior season and graduated with a B.S. in History in 2008.

After college, Brendon jumped at the opportunity to travel to Spain and learn Spanish in the small city of Salamanca. The experience was life changing as he became fluent in a new language and also clarified his career path. After returning from Spain, Brendon followed in his father Miguel’s footsteps and embarked on the path to become a lawyer.

Brendon’s studies continued at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he graduated Cum Laude in the Spring of 2014. While in law school, he interned for a federal judge and the Waukesha District Attorney’s Office. But his fondest memories of law school come from participation in Moot Court. He was a member of the three-person team that won the Midwest Regional of the National Moot Court Competition earning a trip to New York City to compete in the national finals.

After law school he worked at a small firm specializing in insurance defense for two years, met his wife and decided to move back home to practice law with his father. Brendon has been honored to serve his home- the Rochester Community.
