Same Quality Service With a Fresh New Look.

This year will mark 10 years since graduating from law school. The last eight of those years have been right here in my hometown of Rochester, New York. In that time, I have gotten to know so many wonderful, smart and talented people- including both clients and colleagues. I have learned so much from the older attorneys who have been so generous with their time and willingness to answer questions. I have also learned from clients who are often so willing to share insights into their success.

I have to give a very public and special thank you to my father and favorite attorney, Miguel Reyes. He welcomed me into his established practice with open arms and made abundant space for me to grow as an attorney and as a man. I am very lucky to have a resource as knowledgeable and wise as him. I would be lying if I said I didn’t have my reservations about joining him- I was well aware that working with family doesn’t always end well. In hindsight, I would have made the same decision a million times over. Being able to learn from a great attorney- but an even better man- and spend time every day with my dad as I began my career and he winds down his was truly invaluable.

To be clear, none of that is changing. I am still going to be working side by side with my father for as long as he is willing.

Now, on to the new.

I owe thanks to so many people who provided me the (perhaps obvious) advice on the importance of a digital presence. I have had a tendency to lose myself in the work and neglect some of the things that are beneficial to MY business. In particular, I want to thank my good friend Peter Kum-Nji who put the website together for me. I also want to thank my friends and family who gave me their opinions on the logo design and listened to my endless excited chatter about the new branding. All of your input led to something I can say I am proud of.

I am excited about the next steps on the journey. I am excited to achieve my dreams. And I am excited to do my part to help my clients achieve their dreams.

Here’s to the future!
